TMJ

We offer diagnosis and treatment of TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint Disorder).

TMJ disorders involve the jaw joint and can cause headaches, ear aches, dizziness, locked jaws, "clicking" when eating or talking, and other bite issues.

TMJ can be caused by grinding teeth while sleeping or when stressed, from obsessive gum chewing, fingernail biting, misaligned teeth or other dental issues.

The temporomandibular joint is where the upper jaw (maxilla) and lower jaw (mandible) meet. Through treatment and jaw realignment, TMJ symptoms as well as sleep apnea and snoring can be alleviated or resolved.
